"A classic yamahai junmai: dry, sharp & smooth all in one."

This is a connoisseur’s junmai sake, dry, sharp and smooth all in one. Its mild astringency, characteristic of sakes made using the old yamahai method, is balanced by a faintly discernible sweetness.

The Yoshida Brewery

Blessed with bountiful rice and water from the Tedori-gawa river, the brewery is located in the small Yamajima village in Ishikawa Prefecture. The village was home to over ten sake breweries between the late 1800s and early 1900s. Today, Tedorigawa is the only sake that retains the original flavour of this traditional sake-brewing village. Ran by the Yoshida family, the brewery became famous in the 2016 documentary "The Birth of Sake". We highly recommend you to watch it so you can immerse yourself into the life of a sake brewery worker.
